Evernote is named 印象笔记 in China

The .notes is a new encryption format introduced by Impression, which increases the cost of migrating users from Evernote to other note-taking software, such as Microsoft's OneNote, resulting in your notes being forced to remain in Evernote.

After looking at the new version of Evernote's export format, it has changed from .enex to .notes format.

Open the .notes export file, and you will find that all the notes are encrypted in base64 AES format. After a search on the Internet, AES encryption and decryption require a key, but Evernote does not disclose the key for import/export. This means that:

In the future, you'll never be able to export content from Evernote to other apps!

Unless you manually copy-paste one note at a time.
