Bringing OneNote daily notes together to build reports or summary

Questioner 2022-06-11 11:31 869

I manage a team of 26 people. I oftentimes will takes notes on workflows and interactions I observe related to work. I would typically open a note where I’d annotate these things for the day. Is there a good way for me to be able to pull information together to build a more powerful note.

For example…

I have a department lead who’s having performance issues, so I’ve been observing her department lately for improvement. Sometimes the notes I take involve other team members. I’d like to be able to review these notes efficiently to prepare for PIP meetings.

In apps like Obsidian I can use backlinking to accomplish this. But I truly don’t like using multiple note taking apps, and obsidian just isn’t quite what I’m looking for overall.

You can use "Auto OneNote" add-in to create an auto tag summary.

You can read the tag summary when someone complete a task and check complete a To-Do tag.

Create OneNote Tags Summary Page, and Auto Update / Refresh Summary Page
