Is there a way I can embed a link that opens a OneDrive PDF with Adobe Acrobat, instead of navigating to onedrive.live.com?

I'm trying to build pages in OneNote that act as an internal "wiki" of sorts, and link to files in my OneDrive. A lot of these files are PDFs, and if I link to OneDrive, they end up getting opened in my browser... I'd like to have them opened with my native PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat, or Mac Preview). Any clue how this might be done?

You can use OneNoteGem add-ins to do this if you use OneNote's cloud attachment.

OneNoteGem's Exe, UWP, Mac add-ins can to open Cloud PDF in onedrive folder in Windows and Mac system.
