OneNote Tags on Difference Languages on Multiple Devices Have Difference Names.

Questioner 2022-02-03 21:24 753

I use OneNote on different devices - one of them is in German, one is in French, one is in English (default language setting on the device).

But when I use the link/chain tag from the default selection, the other device recognizes it as a custom tag, so I end up having the same tag at least three times - one for each language version.

Why does this happen?

As you can see from the figure, although the tags have the same icon, their name are different.

    For example, the link icon:
    1. Quelle fur Artikel
    2. Websitetipp
    3. Source de l'article
    4. Web site to visit

Considered to be 4 different tags in OneNote. The meaning of the words is the same as that of the scriptures.

Microsoft Office apps have the same problem for multilingualism.

For example, outlook mail folders, there are several in the same mailbox, Inbox and 收件箱. They are also recognized as 2 different folders in Outlook.
